A key highlight for the year ahead will be the opening of the Dharnya Centre redevelopment, scheduled for Dharnya Day during NAIDOC Week. As we mark 50 years of NAIDOC, this will be a proud and significant moment for our community. The Dharnya Centre has always been a place where knowledge is shared and stories are carried forward, grounded in our relationship with Country. Seeing this space renewed and ready to welcome people again is something many have been looking forward to, and it speaks to the strength of our culture and the importance of keeping it alive for those who follow.
Across all of this work, there is a clear sense of direction. These developments are not happening in isolation—they reflect the commitment of our people and a shared vision for the future of our Nation.
