The Yorta Yorta Nation comprises people with long-standing traditional ties to the land and waters of the Murray Goulburn region.
Yorta Yorta Country is situated on the border of Victoria and New South Wales, encompassing the major rivers including the Murray, Goulburn, and Campaspe.
Our traditional lands are characterized by the iconic River Red Gums, expansive wetlands, and fertile river plains that have sustained our people since time immemorial.
Our language is the heartbeat of our identity. Though silenced for generations, we are breathing life back into our words through song, storytelling, and education.
