Woka Walla Delivers a Major Landscaping Project!

The Woka Walla team successfully delivered a major landscaping project for a Tier-one contractor engaged directly by the Victorian Department of Education.

This project marked a significant milestone for Woka Walla, both in scale and complexity, and demonstrated the team’s growing capability to deliver high-value works within a government-regulated environment.

Importantly, this project was also Blayne’s first major appointment as Site Supervisor, where he took on responsibility for day-to-day site management, coordination of crews and subcontractors, quality control, and compliance with safety and program requirements. Under his supervision, the project was delivered to a high standard, reinforcing Woka Walla’s reputation as a reliable and professional delivery partner

The Woka Walla crew demonstrated outstanding commitment and professionalism throughout the project, consistently delivering high-quality work while maintaining strict safety and quality standards on site. The job presented its challenges and demanded both physical and mental resilience, but the team remained focused, disciplined, and solutions driven from start to finish. At no point were standards compromised, and the crew stayed the course to ensure the project was delivered successfully.

The team understood what was at stake: delivering on time, to spec, and to government expectations to ensure Yorta Yorta could confidently secure and grow future opportunities of this scale.

Through discipline, teamwork, and pride in representing Yorta Yorta Nation, the boys got the job done. The result was a successful project handover, a strengthened relationship with the contractor, and a clear message to industry — Woka Walla delivers.
