Please see below advice from ORIC – Registrar for Aboriginal Corporations received 3rd August 2021 advising that the General Meeting scheduled for Sunday 8th August 2021 could not be cancelled or rescheduled, the only reason being is if there was no quorum reached then it would have to be adjourned to be resumed the following week under YYNAC Rule Book and CATSI Act.
As there was no quorum at the meeting Sunday 8th August 2021 and in line with the YYNAC Model Rules (and CATSI Act) this meeting will be resumed in line with the 7.7.2 (a)
The General Meeting scheduled for Sunday 8th August that was adjourned will be resumed Sunday 15th August at 10am at Yenbena located at 2-8 Schier Street, Barmah, Vic 3639
Due to the General Meeting as scheduled for the 8th August 2021 being held not reaching a quorum of members with at least 5 Family Groups in attendance, the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations have advised that in line with the YYNAC Rule Book (and CATSI Act) this meeting was adjourned to the same time of the same day in the next week, and the same place as first detailed in the General Meeting notice – further as per the notice it cannot be held by Zoom.
