NOTICE OF A GENERAL MEETING
OF THE
YORTA YORTA NATION ABORIGINAL CORPORATION
To be held at the Yenbena Centre, 2/8 Schier Street, Barmah
Sunday 8th August 2021
Meeting to start at 10am
This request is made as a Board member of the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation under the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation Rule Book see 7.3 Calling of General Meetings, 7.3.1 A Director may call a general meeting of the corporation.
The resolution is for the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation members to discuss and move the following motions:
Motion: That Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation support the Rumbalara Football Netball Club
Moved: Kalina Morgan-Whyman
Motion: That the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation is the authoritative voice for the Yorta Yorta membership and is the responsible Traditional Owner representation body for the Yorta Yorta Nation as set out in the YYNAC Corporation Rule Book.
We as members of the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation do not support the signing of any agreements that will undermine our sovereign authority or independence.
And as such we do not support the signing of agreements under the following projects of Kiaela
Institute:
- Munarra School of Excellence
- Goulburn Murray Prosperity Plan
- Algabonyah Cabinet
- Empowered Communities
